India Fair on Sat Sept 18, Downtown Hartford
Hello All
I wish to share the information about the Indian Fair to be held tomorrow at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza, Hartford Downtown (next to CT Science Centre).
What is the event?
- Get together of Indian Community to show unity in diversity at home away from home.
- Show support for Hartford Courant's Camp Courant Fund for Children.
- 2-mile walk (Registration starts at 10:00am)
- Power packed Cultural Performances from different States of India
- Submit OCI Application
Whats there for you at the event?
- Participate in the symbolic 2 mile walk and help raise funds for Camp Courant Fund.
- Have fun watching the Colorful Fancy Dress Competition - we have received over 60 participants in 3 categories.
- Enjoy folk dances and songs from different states of India - Bhangra, Giddha
- Enjoy solo and group performances on Bollywood songs.
- Kite flying - relive childhood.
- Relish delicious Indian food and snacks.
- A day out with family and friends to meet others from our community (It‘s expected to be sunny - 75 deg F - yuppy!).
- Shopping - variety of stalls by vendors (clothes, jewllery, heena, art and crafts etc).
- Submit OCI Applications at The Cosulate General Of India, NY booth
- Fabulous prizes to win at Raffle
- Entry is Free!

- Next to Connecticut Science Centre
- Free Parking at Morgan Street Garage
